Biotech Dominates TechCrunch's 2026 Startup Battlefield 200

TechCrunch published its 2026 Startup Battlefield 200 list on August 20, naming the 200 early-stage startups it considers most promising across categories spanning AI, climate, health, fintech, robotics, and consumer technology. Biotech and pharmaceuticals is the largest single category, with 16 companies — exceeding the combined total of agtech, automotive, and cybersecurity.
