Ex-minister says she lost her job for protecting a watchdog

Former NSW minister Eleni Petinos told an anti-corruption inquiry she believes Premier Dominic Perrottet fired her in July 2022 for refusing party pressure to sack building commissioner David Chandler. Petinos said the premier's brother called Chandler "dodgy." Neither Petinos nor Perrottet is under investigation. The inquiry continues.
