Health company CareCloud reports breach affecting 3.75 million people

CareCloud told regulators a hacker reached its medical records system for about eight hours. But the company's own alerts to customers say data was stolen over six days. CEO Stephen Snyder has not explained the mismatch or whether a ransom was paid. Over 3.75 million people were affected.
