Reform UK suspended Montgomerie without Farage knowing, he says

Tim Montgomerie told BBC Newsnight that Reform UK leader Nigel Farage did not know he was being suspended from the party. Reform acted after Montgomerie criticised its home affairs spokesperson, Zia Yusuf, on a podcast. Montgomerie, who left the Conservatives for Reform in 2024, said he will appeal and called it a test of free speech inside the party.
