Reform UK suspended Montgomerie without Farage's knowledge, he says

Tim Montgomerie told BBC Newsnight that Nigel Farage did not know about the decision to suspend him from Reform UK. The party suspended Montgomerie after he criticised home affairs spokesperson Zia Yusuf on a Spectator podcast. Montgomerie, who defected from the Conservatives in 2024, said he will appeal, calling it a test case for free speech within the party.
