Mushroom murder convict Erin Patterson appeals, saying jurors stayed with police and reporters

Erin Patterson was found guilty in July 2025 of killing three people and trying to kill a fourth using poisonous mushrooms. She is now appealing, arguing jurors were housed in the same hotel as police and reporters. Prosecutors also want her 33-year minimum sentence increased, calling it too short.
