Supreme Court Says No to Trump's Last Challenge in Carroll Verdict

The Supreme Court refused on August 17, 2026 to reconsider Donald Trump's challenge to the 2023 verdict that found him liable for sexually abusing and defaming writer E. Jean Carroll. The court had already rejected him once. Carroll's lawyer Roberta Kaplan says the verdict cannot be challenged anymore. A separate $83.3 million judgment is still being appealed.
