Minister Erica Stanford says she supports PM Luxon, denies leadership bid

Education Minister Erica Stanford has rejected talk she tried to take over as National Party leader. She told reporters at Wellington Airport on Sunday she fully supports Prime Minister Christopher Luxon. Stanford said she wants to stay in her current roles for nine years. Luxon recently survived a vote by his fellow MPs on whether he should stay on as leader — his second such vote in four months.
