Stanford denies National leadership challenge, backs Luxon

Education Minister Erica Stanford has denied challenging for the National Party leadership, telling reporters at Wellington Airport on Sunday she "categorically" supports Prime Minister Christopher Luxon. Stanford said she wants to remain Minister of Education and Immigration for the next nine years. Her comments came after Luxon survived his second leadership confidence vote in four months.
