Intel's new gaming handheld chip beats rival on battery life and speed

Intel's new chip, made specifically for handheld gaming devices instead of borrowed from laptops, powers MSI's Claw 8 AI Plus. A August 14 Verge review says it runs faster than AMD's Z2 Extreme, plays games more clearly than the Steam Deck, and lasts longer on battery than any handheld tested. It launches at $1,799 with limited US supply.
