
A New GameCube Emulator Called Gecko Is Here — Its Creator Says an Existing One Already Does Everything It Can
A developer named Layle, who has built programs that let modern computers run older game systems, released Gecko — a new tool for playing GameCube games on PCs. When asked what Gecko adds beyond Dolphin, a widely used emulator refined since 2003 that runs nearly every GameCube title, Layle said: "Probably none." Gecko is aimed at hobbyist developers and software researchers rather than replacing Dolphin.
