Israeli Soldiers Shoot Vehicle in West Bank, Killing 7-Month-Old Palestinian Boy

Israeli soldiers fired on a car in the occupied West Bank on June 5, 2026, killing a seven-month-old boy and wounding his parents. The military said soldiers thought the vehicle was driving toward them. An investigation is underway. Since October 2023, over 1,000 Palestinians have died in the West Bank, including at least 240 children.
