
Ebola Reaches Congo's Biggest Cities, Raising Alarm About Spread
The virus has now turned up in Kinshasa, Congo's capital of 12 million people, and in Goma, a major crossing point between Congo and Rwanda. Both cities are far from where the outbreak started in the east. The danger: these densely populated urban centers have connections throughout the region and beyond, making it far more likely the virus could jump across borders into neighboring countries.
