Judge blocks Postal Service mail-in voting limits across the country

A federal judge on August 11, 2026, expanded her order to stop the U.S. Postal Service nationwide from carrying out President Trump's order limiting mail-in voting. The ruling broadens a June order covering 23 states and Washington, D.C. The judge said those suing are likely to show Trump went beyond his power.
