Bluesky's user count has dropped by half since its 2024 high

Bluesky, a social media app, had 10.4 million people using it each month as of June 2026 — down from 22.1 million in late 2024, a 52% drop, per data firm Similarweb reported by TechCrunch. Daily users fell to about 3 million in July 2026, down 25.6% from a year earlier. The slide began after a spike of interest around the 2024 election faded.
