Bumble Gives Users Three Days to Message a Match

Bumble now gives users 72 hours instead of 24 to send the first message after matching, part of an August 11, 2026 update called Chat XP. Over half of surveyed users said the extra time improved their experience. The change also coincides with Bumble dropping its rule that women must message first.
