Bumble Extends Match Response Window from 24 to 72 Hours

Bumble tripled its match response window from 24 hours to 72 hours as part of an August 11, 2026 product update called Chat XP. The company says over half of surveyed members reported a better experience with the longer window. The change reduces expired-match pressure and accompanies the end of Bumble's women-message-first rule.
