NYC Mayor Mamdani Says City Cannot Execute ICC Arrest Warrant for Netanyahu

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani said in a July 22 video that the city lacks independent legal authority to execute an ICC arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The acknowledgment retreats from his 2025 campaign pledge to direct the NYPD to arrest Netanyahu. Mamdani called Netanyahu a "war criminal" and said he is not welcome in New York.
