Arizona Republicans Nominate Andy Biggs for Governor, Setting Up November Clash With Hobbs

Arizona's July 21, 2026 primaries set the November governor's race: Rep. Andy Biggs, who voted against certifying the 2020 election results and held Trump's endorsement, against Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs, who won her first term by roughly 17,000 votes. Trump carried Arizona in 2024. The general election is November 3, 2026.
