Netflix Paid $587 Million in Cash for Ben Affleck's AI Filmmaking Startup, SEC Filing Shows

An SEC filing for the period ending June 30, 2026 reveals Netflix paid $587 million in cash for InterPositive, the AI filmmaking startup co-founded by Ben Affleck. The terms were undisclosed when the acquisition was announced in March 2026. Netflix also reported that roughly 300 of its titles have already used generative AI in production.
