Delhi High Court keeps hunger-striking activist Sonam Wangchuk in government hospital ahead of July 20 Parliament march

Delhi High Court on July 19 rejected a petition by Wangchuk's wife seeking his release from Safdarjung Hospital, where police took him after 21 days on hunger strike at Jantar Mantar. Justice Mini Pushkarna found no force was used and that bodily autonomy was not violated. The next hearing is July 24 — four days after a planned Parliament march.
