Great Britain energy price cap forecast to rise 16% to £1,999 in January

Cornwall Insight forecasts Great Britain's Default Tariff Cap will reach £1,999 a year for typical dual-fuel use for January to March, up 16% or £276. The consultancy previously expected a 9% rise. If confirmed by regulator Ofgem, it would be the highest level in four years.
