Poundland Bosses Near £30m Deal Saving Jobs

11,000 jobs at 600 Poundland stores could be saved by a £30m buyout, where managers buy the business. Boss Barry Williams and ex-chief Andy Bond are in advanced talks to buy the chain from Gordon Brothers. Gordon Brothers hired firm Alvarez & Marsal to oversee the sale. Talks with an unnamed backer continue.
