Sony Japan Ties PS5 Pro Sales to 60 Hours of Playtime

Sony Japan will restrict PS5 Pro sales to buyers with a Japan-registered Sony account showing at least 60 hours of PS4 or PS5 play between September 27, 2024 and September 27, 2026. Buyers must order with that same account, linking the console purchase to account region and proven play history.
