
Both major parties under 30 percent — but coalition still governs
Labour sits at 25.9 percent and National at 29 percent in the latest Taxpayers' Union-Curia poll, yet the governing bloc would hold 64 seats to the opposition's 56. The reason: the opposition vote splits across Labour, the Greens (up to 13.9 percent), and Opportunity, which fell below the 5 percent threshold at 4.5 percent.
