US Strikes Three Iranian Oil Tankers After Iran Fires Ballistic Missiles at US Warships
Iran's IRGC said it launched "several ballistic missiles" at a US aircraft carrier and destroyer near the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM said the ships evaded the strikes with no injuries. US forces then struck three Iranian vessels, including a tanker off Kharg Island, through which 90 percent of Iran's crude exports flowed before the war. CENTCOM's Cooper: "If you shoot at two of our ships, we will impose an even higher economic cost."
