US Strikes Iranian Oil Tankers After Missile Attack on Warships
Iran's IRGC fired ballistic missiles at a US carrier and destroyer near the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM said the ships evaded them with no injuries. US forces then struck three Iranian vessels, including a tanker off Kharg Island, which handled 90 percent of Iran's crude exports before the war. CENTCOM's Cooper warned of "even higher economic cost" if attacked again.
