Lib Dems Urge Burnham to Convene Cross-Party Climate Talks as 'Super El Niño' Looms; No Response After Two Weeks

Lib Dem leader Ed Davey and energy spokesperson Pippa Heylings wrote to PM Andy Burnham a fortnight ago proposing a cross-party leaders' meeting on UK extreme weather preparedness, citing an approaching "super El Niño" forecast to intensify flooding and storms this autumn and winter. They have received no response. Labour MP Clive Lewis backed the call.
