Nvidia reports its Vera Rubin NVL72 systems deliver up to 30x higher throughput per megawatt than the previous-generation GB300 NVL72. The six-chip Rubin architecture pairs Vera CPUs — which orchestrate data delivery to avoid memory bottlenecks — with dual-GPU Rubin units across an NVLink copper spine. Amazon has tripled Nvidia chip orders, adding 2 million GPUs to AWS starting Q3 2026.
