Nepal-Tibet Flash Flood Kills 165, Over 1,500 Missing

A flash flood along the Nepal-Tibet border has killed at least 165 people, Nepali police confirmed. The Guardian reports over 1,500 missing, most of them tourists. Chinese state media says three died on the Tibet side, with 558 missing in Gyirong county alone. Rescue teams are struggling to reach cut-off communities as the toll is expected to rise.
