Nintendo Switch 2 U.S. price rises to $499.99 on September 1

Nintendo of America confirmed the Switch 2 U.S. MSRP will increase from $449.99 to $499.99 on September 1, 2026 — an 11.1% jump. The Canadian MSRP rises from $629.99 to $679.99 the same day. The $50 U.S. hike takes effect roughly seven months after the console's launch.
