Boy, 3, discharged from hospital after crocodile enclosure incident at Cambridgeshire zoo

A three-year-old boy who underwent seven operations after allegedly being thrown into a crocodile enclosure at Johnsons of Old Hurst zoo, near Huntingdon, on 18 June has been discharged from hospital and returned home, his family confirmed on 25 August 2026. A 30-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder remains released on bail. The family said his immediate surgeries are over and rehabilitation at home has begun.
