
Western Europe Hit Hardest by Streaming Price Hikes, Outpacing the US
Subscribers to Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video in western Europe faced higher average price increases over the past three years than any other market, including the US, according to Ampere Analysis. Average monthly costs rose $1.86 (£1.36), versus $1.70 in the US. Sub-Saharan African subscribers saw increases under $1. Ad-free tiers absorbed larger hikes than ad-supported plans.
