Genomic discrimination protections in law but dormant — no regulations written nearly two years after royal assent

The Contracts of Insurance Act 2024, given royal assent in November 2024, empowers the health minister to regulate insurers' use of DNA data. Nearly two years on, no regulations have been written and no consultation with the Financial Markets Authority or affected parties appears to have begun.
