Reform UK's Tice Tells Britons to 'Enjoy' Extreme Heat as Wildfires Destroy Homes

At a 17 August press conference, Reform UK deputy leader Richard Tice said "Climate change is real, let's enjoy the warm weather," dismissing climate concerns as "doom and gloom." His remarks came as wildfires destroyed homes in Stourbridge, drought threatened water supplies, and farmers warned of one of the worst harvests on record. Labour's Bridget Phillipson called the comments "tone-deaf" and demanded Tice apologise to firefighters. Reform UK has not responded.
