Foldable iPhone codename surfaces in macOS Tahoe release candidate

macOS Tahoe 26.7's release candidate contains a code reference to a foldable iPhone, labeled V68 and internally called "The Folding One," also referred to as iPhone Ultra. MacRumors reported the finding on August 17, 2026; Engadget corroborated it August 18. This is the first internal reference to a foldable iPhone form factor to appear in macOS code.
