Sacked minister Penk expected back in Parliament next week as backbencher

Chris Penk is likely to return to Parliament next week as a backbencher, five days after Prime Minister Christopher Luxon sacked him from Cabinet and all ministerial portfolios following a failed leadership challenge. Paul Goldsmith has picked up all of Penk's former portfolios. Penk has also confirmed he will not seek re-election in November.
