Uber and Zipline Target One Million Daily Drone Deliveries by 2029

Uber partnered with drone operator Zipline on August 17, 2026, to bring autonomous delivery to Uber Eats, starting in Dallas-Fort Worth before expanding to dozens of U.S. cities. Uber also made a strategic investment in Zipline. The companies have set a target of one million daily drone deliveries by 2029 — a scale no U.S. operator has approached. Zipline has completed two million deliveries over a decade.
