Bragg corrects 'yes, definitely' on substandard homes after code-slash pitch

Liberal senator Andrew Bragg has corrected an RN Breakfast interview in which he replied "yes, definitely" to whether Australians should accept substandard homes under his plan to cut the National Construction Code from 2,000-plus pages to 80 and make energy efficiency standards voluntary. Bragg said he misheard the question. The proposal has not been signed off by shadow cabinet.
