
France disciplines Bangui ambassador weeks after hailing "complete restoration of relations"
France opened disciplinary proceedings against its CAR ambassador, Bruno Foucher, after an April 2026 inspection found he brought roughly 30 women aged 20–30 into his Bangui residence over two years.
