Israeli Military Clashes With Settlers Besieging Palestinian Homes in West Bank, Deploys Extra Battalion

Israeli forces clashed with 50–60 settlers besieging three Palestinian families in Qusra, south of Nablus, dismantling a settler tent before withdrawing. The chief of general staff ordered an additional infantry battalion to the area. The military announced disciplinary action against personnel filmed alongside settlers rather than intervening, and called the home seizures "illegal, reprehensible and unacceptable."
