Y Combinator-backed startup Gamgee offers AI-designed dog cancer vaccines globally on evidence of a single uncontrolled case

Non-biologist Paul Conyngham used ChatGPT and AlphaFold to design an mRNA cancer vaccine for his dog Rosie, whose tumors shrank — but the vaccine was given alongside another therapy, making causation impossible to isolate. Gamgee, launched in Y Combinator's Summer 2026 batch, is recruiting trials in Australia and "accepting cases globally." Its website also states ambitions extending to human treatments.
