Meta Launches Native Threads App on Quest VR Headsets

Meta launched a native Threads app for Meta Quest VR headsets on August 11, 2026, available free from Meta's store. Users can browse feeds, post, reply, like, search, visit profiles, and watch videos — the full core feature set of the text-first social network, now inside VR. Meta said the app is designed to make VR more social.
