Lucy Davis, star of The Office, discloses incurable stage four breast cancer

Lucy Davis, 53, who played Dawn Tinsley in the original British series The Office, disclosed on August 11, 2026 via Instagram that she has incurable stage four breast cancer. Diagnosed in early 2025, the disease has spread to her spine, right hip, and ribs. Davis said chemotherapy is no longer a viable option.
