Passenger launched evil-twin Wi-Fi spoof on Delta flight, pilots alerted ATC twice

A passenger created a rogue access point impersonating Delta's in-flight Wi-Fi on a Las Vegas-to-Atlanta flight on August 10, 2026. Pilots alerted air traffic control twice; the crew disabled the legitimate network for roughly 30 minutes. Delta confirmed no aircraft systems were affected and referred the incident to federal law enforcement. The FAA says it has not received a report.
