Creative Sound Blaster Katana V2X soundbar has a serious security flaw that could let attackers control your PC

A security researcher revealed on June 3, 2026, that Creative's Katana V2X soundbar has a flaw in how it handles USB commands from devices. Attackers can send malicious audio data over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to trigger keyboard and mouse commands on your PC without any action from you. The attack works from over 300 feet away. Creative has not yet released a fix.
