Universal Audio's $999 Volt 876 rackmount interface now ships with LUNA, its digital audio workstation, plus the UAD Producer Suite of sound-shaping plugins. Rather than selling these separately, Universal Audio integrates them so they work together seamlessly — a strategy borrowed from Apple and other vertically integrated tech companies to deepen user lock-in.
