ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 18 Adds Motion-Blur Technology to Gaming Laptops

ASUS has added ROG Nebula ELMB, a motion-blur reduction feature, to the 2026 ROG Strix SCAR 18 laptop—a first for the company's gaming line. The 18-inch 4K display can deliver up to 16x clearer motion during fast gameplay without dimming the screen or affecting refresh rate. The tradeoff: ELMB works only in SDR mode, meaning gamers must disable HDR visuals to use it.
