Rivian Recalls 19,641 Vehicles Over Service-Related Suspension Defect
Rivian has recalled nearly 20,000 R1S and R1T vehicles after discovering that rear suspension components were incorrectly reassembled during routine service. The misaligned parts compromise steering and stability. The issue marks a shift in Rivian's quality challenges — moving beyond the factory floor into the service supply chain, a vulnerability distinct from earlier production defects.
