ECB Expected to Hold Rates at 2.25% on July 23

The ECB will likely leave its deposit rate at 2.25% after its July 23 Frankfurt meeting. Analysts are unanimous and markets see under 5% odds of any change. This follows a 25-basis-point (0.25 percentage point) hike six weeks ago. A September increase to 2.50% remains the analyst base case.
